John MacLeod
John MacLeod, M.A., CRC, created MacLeod Career Management Inc. with the belief that for many people, work is a key foundation of their lives, and that gaining a sense of control over it helps to bring them balance and fulfillment. John has over twenty five years of experience helping persons, and the organizations they work for, develop and strengthen careers. He works closely with client firms to strengthen performance and help the professional development of employees. When employees leave their positions, or when individuals seek to gain control of their careers, he uses his combined background in business, counseling and testing to help them define and achieve their goals. He has been quoted in news articles on careers, has been interviewed for national radio and television shows, and has spoken publicly on many occasions on these issues.
John has lived in Oregon since 1978 and enjoys running in Portland’s Southwest Hills and Pre’s Trail in Eugene. He is taking French once again and claims that, this time, he is really going to learn it.
Jennifer Desmond
Jennifer brings 20 years of expertise in career management, coaching, leadership development, and recruiting. She specializes in working with managers and executives in identifying their central interests, strengths and personal styles to increase their professional performance and personal satisfaction. She has served as Director of Professional Development at the Atkinson Graduate School of Management at Willamette University, where she developed an executive education curriculum for corporate leaders. She also worked in higher education at University of California, San Diego and St. Louis University. Jennifer is Birkman and MBTI Certified and is uniquely skilled in the interpretation of these tools for individuals and for leadership teams.
Jennifer travels extensively to visit her family, and then enjoys getting back to the Oregon beach and her Portland garden and friends.
Annelies Kloosterman
For Executive and Leadership coaching, we partner with Annelies Kloosterman, the Founder and Principal of Capacity Consulting, LLC. Her consulting practice focuses on enhancing capacity and increasing bottom-line results for senior leaders, operations mangers and the companies in which they lead. The firm’s practice revolves around Executive Coaching and Leadership Team Effectiveness.
Annelies has a diverse and successful background of over 25 years in executive leadership, operations management, strategic business planning, and in implementing business solutions involving the introduction and development of efficient business systems. She has extensive experience as Vice President in the functions of Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Human Resources in several industries, and has completed advanced courses in Executive Management Studies at U.C.L.A and Stanford University.
Raised in Holland, Annelies has lived in Portland since 1992. She enjoys traveling, the environmental focus of the Northwest, and the diverse cultural opportunities in Portland.
Jaye Stutz
Jaye Stutz, M.A., CRC, has partnered with MacLeod Career Management since the 1990’s. In 1986, Jaye founded his own consulting company, Regional Rehab, Inc., where he provides professional career consultation in Eugene and the rest of Oregon. Jaye has developed expertise in many areas of career counseling. He has earned certifications with many states and at a national level as a Rehabilitation Counselor. Jaye has a strong reputation as an expert on workplace ergonomic and other issues, and clients use his background from having researched countless industries and occupations. He has been awarded contracts to help persons with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Washington Labor and Industries, and many other public and private organizations. Jaye lives in Eugene, Oregon, right next to the park where his dogs take him for daily walks.
Mary Massa
Mary Massa, M.S., earned her graduate degree in Counseling at the University of Oregon, and has lived in Oregon for over twenty years. She has served in leadership roles in non-profit organizations and served as a counselor to college students. Mary works with individuals and groups on issues of job and career changes, and combines her understanding of testing and counseling with her knowledge of career choice, to help clients identify and reach their goals.
Mary enjoys the arts, has sold many pieces she has created at stores and galleries across the West Coast, and developed a website for new writers to post their works.
